Since starting his family farm in 1979, Ad has embraced innovation, adopting milking robots as early as 1998 and steering his farm towards antibiotic-free and climate-neutral practices. He founded NoorderlandMilk, a cooperative renowned for its sustainable dairy production, and runs DairyNext, a consultancy promoting business development within the dairy industry. Ad also collaborates with Wageningen University on advanced agricultural projects and serves as the president of Global Dairy Farmers, leveraging his extensive network to influence the global dairy sector.

  • Reda Gomaa

    Reda Gomaa brings over two decades of specialized experience in dairy nutrition to the table. His extensive career includes a significant tenure at Almarai, the world’s largest dairy farm, where he honed his expertise in optimizing dairy production. As a part owner of Arab Union Food Consultant, Reda deepens his impact on the dairy industry, particularly within the Middle East, leveraging his profound knowledge and network to drive advancements in dairy nutrition and industry practices.

  • Luke Bevan

    Luke holds a PhD in Uncertainty in Climate and Energy Systems from UCL, complemented by a Masters in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College and an undergraduate degree in Physics from Oxford. His diverse expertise encompasses roles in government COVID policy and science, climate finance, energy consultancy, and R&D investment strategy. At Zinc, Luke specializes in Deeptech and the Environment, focusing on investing in and nurturing the growth of early-stage, mission-driven deep tech companies.

    Ahmed Fawzy brings an extensive skill set in mechanical engineering, data analytics, and agritech. Graduating with First Class Honours from Queen Mary University of London and holding a Mini MBA with Distinction from Hult International Business School, Ahmed excels in optimizing operations and implementing innovative strategies. His expertise in developing effective systems and processes significantly enhances operational efficiencies, making him a key figure in advancing sustainable agricultural practices.

    Nas Sharif is a co-founder of Taza London Ltd, known for his strategic acumen and expertise in data-driven marketing within the urban vertical farming industry. With a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering from Queen Mary University of London, Nas combines his analytical skills with creative marketing to enhance brand visibility and growth. His experience spans leading high-impact campaigns at Publitek and pioneering The Food Project, where he merged culinary experiences with professional networking to foster innovation. Nas's approach has significantly contributed to Taza’s recognition and success in competitive markets.
